DANI J COUTURE is the lifetime aspiration of Founder and Designer Danielle Johnson. The official label was created in 2011, but not before Danielle graced Ohio and Florida runways with her one-of-a-kind designs. Collections include couture and ready-to-wear dresses, tops, bottoms, and outerwear. Creativity and audacity are what separates DANI J COUTURE from the rest. Danielle is not afraid to go against the grain and break away from the trends that everyone else tends to follow. She believes that fashion should be unique; it is an expression of who you are. Everyone is different, so why should everyone follow the same fashion trends? With this core concept in mind, she lets her creative juices flow. The Cleveland, Oh native spent majority of her time in the shopping malls. As a little girl, she would shop side-by-side her aunt in the major department stores, grabbing everything her little hands could carry. Danielle’s mom stayed dressed in designer business suits, her dad decked in top of the line leathers and furs, and her aunt kept up with all the latest fashion trends. She was surrounded by fashion, so she knew by the time she was in high school that this was the industry she wanted to build a career in. Danielle took sewing classes in high school, and went on to major in Fashion Design in college.
Dani J Couture is based in Houston, TX where Danielle currently resides. She is looking forward to gracing the world with her unique styles in her upcoming collections. She prides herself on her motto “We don’t follow trends, we set them, break them, and redefine them!”
