Lucas Garcia began his Make Up career while working on his BA in Dance and Musical Theatre. He learned the theatre technique and theatrical make up, such as fantasy and special effects. He also began to use his make up skills while working an his minor in costuming, as both went hand in hand while working on your own portfolio.
Lucas was then approached by the Artist Director of Ziba, Oscar Naranjo, to become a make up apprentice for the company. While taking private lessons from Oscar, he began to research and take classes on his own, to find tune his technique and get the practice he needed. He has assisted Oscar in many photo shoots including the Eastern Bride Expo, and has expanded his career by beginning to learn hair.
Lucas now works freelance for Ziba as a make up artist, and now has his own make up business, doing fashion Photo Shoots, event and shows at various venues and colleges, music videos, and has worked with designers to create unique portfolios. Lucas has joined model mayhem in order to network with other people and expand his business, and hopefully one day gained the means to open his own salon.
