In the mid 80′s I purchased a Pentax K1000 and under the tutelage of Mrs. D. Keats and Mr. J. Arts developed my photographic “eye”. Many hours were spent in the dark room, among the chemicals and paper, learning my art. As with many photographers my first published work was in the high school newspaper and yearbook. In 1990 I was hired to photograph a wedding and thus my life as a professional photographer began.

After 25 years I have traded the darkroom in for Photoshop and the rolls of film have been replaced with memory sticks. I am taking nearly any opportunity to hone my digital skills and update my portfolio. I’ve been known to do gratis work if asked nicely.

My work has been published on such sites as breathecast.com, and provided to PR firms like Ogilvy & Mather. Most of my work involves sports, weddings, concerts, and specialty events for non-profit groups plus a respectable collection of Outdoor and Wildlife material.
