I am a Chicago makeup artist seeking to provide services for models and photographers for all venues. I attended the MakeUp First program in Chicago and completed 106 hours in makeup education, being certified in Theatrical, High Definition, Runway, Editorial, and Black and White disciplines. I have worked as a freelance makeup artist for the past five years, recently being the lead instructor for Glam Labs Chicago Makeup School. As an instructor, I taught full range makeup application skills to hundreds of students. The techniques included foundation applications, contouring, shadowing, color palette usage, as well as minimalist and high definition methods. This position offered the opportunity to interact with many individuals, enhancing my interpersonal skills. I demonstrate excellent rapport with clients. I have vast experience working with a variety of skin tones and have performed services for clients of all ages. My passion is makeup artistry. I chose to obtain a law degree to accentuate my business acumen. I completed the certificate pathway in business law to build my career in the makeup industry. I attended law school at DePaul on a part time basis, while working as a makeup artist, passing the bar this July on my first attempt. This feat speaks to my focus, drive and determination.
