Hi!
I'm Justin Martinez, from Georgia, and I take pictures of people for a living. I went to school for it and have been working in the field for nearly ten years.

I'm relatively young for this profession, 26, but don't assume that means inexperience. Photography has been my passion from day one. Started in editorial photography for newspapers at age 17 under Phyl Gatlin.

These days, I work as a skydiving photographer by week, strapping a DSLR to my head and jumping out of planes to get the shot; and a portrait/fashion/product/headshot photographer by afternoons and weekends.

I disagree with many "purist" photographers about post processing. I don't believe Photoshop, or any other program, can "save" a poorly exposed or composed photo, however, I do believe Photoshop is tool and an artform that takes years to master and, if used correctly, can be used to make a good photo into a great one.

Any tool that I can use to show the client in his/her/it's best light, I will use. I love painting a scene with strobes and flashes and flashlights and whatever I have to use to tell the story through the photo.

At risk of sounding like a jerk, I'm no GWC and I do expect payment for my services.
