I have volunteered several times with the Baltimore city foundation Squashwise, which gives kids, who would likely otherwise drop out of school, the opportunity to play squash. Squash is such a great game because not only is it fun strategic exercise ("chess with racquets and a court") that can you play it for your whole life, but it is pivotal in getting into good schools. The vast majority of inner city Baltimore youth's goals consist of being an NBA player or being the next big rapper, which are one in a million pipe dreams. Squash gives them a realistic option, an option that might provide a poor single mother on welfare a son or daughter that could attend an Ivy League School. One day, I hope there are squash courts at every single school, public and private, with kids being pressured to be on the varsity squash team instead of a gang.


I need to get rich and famous so I can make grand contributions to charity..... Maybe I need a documentarian.....or reality TV........billboards
