Photography is both an art and science, beyond the skills necessary with the camera, and a long list of photographic equipment as well is an understanding of how to use light both broad and sublime, great photographers need an artistic eye and the ability to be creative under pressure. With many years of experience, I have developed these visual senses and skills. Shooting in a style more like a fashion photographer than a portrait photographer, I "sketch" with the camera, capturing the subtle nuances of feelings and emotions present in every person or event she photographs. Artistic and talented but flexible and relaxed, shooting in a broad range of styles, I have photographed weddings and events as well as studio and location headshots for actors, models, families and many name brand food companies.

I am currently the Arti Director of Ocala Magazine, the largest local magazine in the Marion County Florida area. I oversee the art and production of the magazine as well as shoot for it. Working with the editor and over seeing other designers to coordinate the artwork for all layouts in the magazine is crucial.

More than simply assigning a photographer or illustrator to create an image, I help create visual concepts. I help create the specific look and feel of the entire magazine, ensuring there’s a unified visual look throughout. It is my responsibility to make sure that not only there is continuity in the magazine, but that the magazine also stays on track and makes deadline on time.
