Photography is my passion. I've done it all, from sports photography to portraiture to boudoir photography to corporate photography.  My biggest business is supplying photos of men to publishers of romance novels for book covers.  With the large number of romance novels produced each year there is a constant need for handsome men to appear on those book covers. So, this is your chance to be seen by a large audience.  Appearing on a book cover gives you better exposure than just about any other format out there.  Novels sell thousands of copies.  Since they are largely written by women for women, 90% of those novels need men on the covers.  It's my mission to keep the publishers, art directors, and individual artists supplied with a variety of handsome men. Since these are book covers we are obviously talking clothed photos.  The most daring look is the occasional shirtless man.  The publishers tell me what they need and I work to supply them.  Right now, in addition to attractive men they want men who can show some vulnerability.  We communicate so much through our facial expressions and how we hold our bodies. I'm quite good at talking models through scenarios that bring forth different emotional expressions. 

I live and work in Washington, DC, but I also travel a lot during the year to shoot in different locations and to attend large publisher conventions.  I try to spend a couple of weeks in NYC each year in both spring and fall.  Who knows, maybe I'll be in your part of the world sometime soon.

Photography is a complicated interplay of light and emotion and atmosphere and so many things.  And its just plain fun. I've been told I'm great to work with because I'm not a hyper, high pressure photographer.  I've always believed that a more relaxed approach is conducive to producing the best art.

Separate and apart from the book cover work, I also enjoy photographing male nudes.  In those photos I prefer the more suggestive approach rather than the full reveal.  I think a suggestion that leaves details to the mind of the viewer is the most intriguing.
