About Me

*My name is Tim Tovey, I am based in Cornwall (St. Austell primarily but can travel):

* Post grad BA(Hons) Photography student, left Uni with a 2:1. Looking to keep his skills sharp.

*I would describe myself as a commercially focused concept artist whom enjoys the religiousness and quality of the commercial practice whilst combining this into fine art concepts.

*Besides photography I have proven experience in customer focused roles so you'll quickly find I can make you feel comfortable.

*At the moment I am only able to take natural light and single stobe concepts due to lack of Equipment. However, do not underestimate natural light :D

About me:

I am a fun, approachable, and quirky individual - however you'll find that this is only due to me being a very positive person! Although I hope the biggest thing you will notice about me is that I am Professionally trained, I have a fantastic eye for balancing light (honed by my degree), and I understand the commercial aesthetic!

I love doing fashion work, and would love to try and do more concept work. So if you have one, come chat to me please! But in the meantime, you should know that if you work with me,
I will endeavor to make you feel comfortable, and have a great time every time you shoot with me :)

Thanks for the tag and pic comment, always appreciated, if you're free on the 26th of this month I'm holding an open day at my studio in Leeds City centre from 2pm shooting a pro model and demos of new gear, hands on afternoon, good fun if you can make it?

I worked with Tim this week for the first time. He was a joy to work with!
Ver down to earth and i felt very comfortable with him as soon as we met.
He has gone to the trouble to find some outfits for me to wear and even offered to compensate me for travel expenses,to which i declined as he had already done so much to make the shoot awesome.

Tim may be a student for it was very apparent that he has a love for photography and is very talented. He was happy to let me run with some poses and added his own direction to perfect my poses.
His knowledge of lighting blew my mind too. He even taught me some technical terms for the equipment!

A truly nice guy. I had a blast working with him and we got some amazing images. I can't wait to see them and get some edited ones.

I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again and i have already recommended him.

If your thinking of working with Tim, go for it! You won't regret it!
