Be a make-up artist is not only a job for me, but it is, first of all, a passion, a vocation. I have always been fascinated by the make-up world, especially when this profession is related to fashion and photography. Make-up is not just make-up, but it is a kind of art, a medium through which I can express myself. It allows me to be creative and to use my fantasy to create something beautiful. I think of myself as a painter and I see human faces as canvases. Yet, these faces are not inert matter; they are made of blood and flesh and belong to real, living human beings. What you can create are, thus, living artworks.
Make-up makes me feel realized. When I do a make-up, I get completely absorbed in what I'm doing and I forget everything else. I put all of myself in my work: not only the technique, but also my passion, my emotions and feelings. This is my most important strength, the one which allows me to turn the mere skill in something higher and more expressive.
