My interest in photography started while I was in high school. The small town where I grew up had a studio photographer that also sold cameras and photography supplies. The owner gave me my first training. The high school needed a school photographer for its newspaper and its yearbook, the local newspaper needed someone to chase wrecks and take sports pictures. That is when I became a “Photographer.”

My interest in photography and art continued throughout my life with my main interest being landscape and fine art. During 1984 - 1985, I attended the New York Institute of Photography. The instructors there gave me a whole new insight to lighting and composition.

Most recently, my work is landscape, fine art, and on location portraiture. My goal is to find the best subjects and to capture the beauty of nature and life in order to create fine art.
