I'm currently in Brooklyn for some projects, although I'm a recent transplant to LA, from Burlington, VT. Not too long ago had not yet even visited the west coast and now I live there. The decision to move all the way across the country after over a decade in the bosom of the Green Mountains could have been a difficult one (as Burlington is the cultural epicenter of VT). Instead, it was a no-brainer. It was the time; Los Angeles was the unexpected (and unsuspecting) place. In VT I was playing in several bands and doing a periodic photo shoot here and there, but the options were quite limited. As I've come to know first-hand, LA is absolutely chock-full of possibility; filled to the brim with opportunity. Since I arrived in July 2013 I've done a musical theatre cabaret in Hollywood, been recording and filming with YouTube artist Nice Peter (of ERB), singing in an a cappella classical choir, playing and singing jazz in the Pay-It-Forward Band (an all-volunteer band comprised of over 150 of LA's best musicians who play for nursing homes), teaching music to kids, and much more. Not only do I love to be in pictures, I have a BFA in musical theater, I'm a massage therapist/reiki master, a musician, and an arts educator.
