Hana Ali’s career as a makeup artist began only two years ago. Within this short span of time, Hana has worked with noted celebrity photographers, wardrobe and hairstylists, has had work published in several magazines, as well as national television campaigns. Although formerly educated with a M.A. in Educational Technology and a B.A. in Mass Communications, Hana decided in late 2011 to pursue her childhood dreams and began freelancing as a makeup artist full-time. “After being fired from my position as an insurance agent, I vowed that I would never put my livelihood into another person’s hands again…to chase my dreams and never look back”. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Hana started out practicing her makeup techniques on friends and family. As a self-taught makeup artist, it has been Hana’s natural ability and talent for makeup that has attributed to her progressive career in such a short amount of time. Hana specializes in various mediums of makeup techniques which include: bridal, runway, photo shoots for any occasion, haute couture, high fashion/editorial, and print/tv/film. Additionally, Hana is a professional event planner under her company Hudson Productions. She currently resides in Atlanta, GA and is the mother of a 12 year old daughter.
