Hello,

My name is Desmond Barnes, I am a recent college graduate of Winston-Salem State University. I graduated with honors (magna cum laude) majoring in marketing.

I picked up my very first DSLR camera in the summer of 2011 in order to gain experience pertaining to creating online and print ads to apply to my marketing portfolio. I didn't know that I would fall in love with my camera, but after took my first picture I was hooked and have been shooting ever since.

I have had the opportunity to travel abroad to Thailand where I studied aesthetics which I believe inspires a lot of the vision behind my photos. During my time abroad I traveled to Sri Lanka, Cambodia, and I was able to conduct a photo shoot in India!

Upon my arrival back to the states I created Ros3wood, which is what I operate under as a photographer. It has kept me sane during my transition into the "real world". I recently relocated to a suburb area of Nashville (Murfreesboro) where I work full-time.

I want to use this site to assist aspiring, and professional models build their portfolios in addition to sharpening a few tools of my own. I believe this will be a great opportunity for Ros3wood.
