I’m A.M. Brown the photographer behind AROtography.

So how did I get into photography?

As a child I grew up in a very camera friendly household. I remember my dad always had a camera in his hands at events.
I can remember being around four or five years old and getting a Mickey Mouse toy camera for my birthday. I wanted to be just like my dad taking pictures of everything I could with it.
As I got older my love for photography grew along with me. During my teenage & young adult years my mother & father recognized my passion for photography and continuously purchased me cameras & software to help me grown.
Years later my dreams of being a photographer became a reality & AROtography was born.

What is AROtography?

AROtography is a word that I created to express my photography.
I wanted a name that was different but fit what I wanted to do with my photography & that was personal to me.
“ARO” comes from the middle three letters in my first name; it also stands for artistic, real & original, all things I feel my photography represent.
