My Name is Andy Vasquez (My friends call me Vask) I am a 30 year old Hispanic Male (Dominican in case you are wondering) that resides in Yonkers. I am still attending College in pursuit of my BA in Computer Graphics and Imaging. I should be graduating by the end of 2013.

With that said, I have knowledge of various different imaging applications such as most of the adobe suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Flash, Dreamweaver ,After Effects, Premiere) as well as Maya 3d.

I grew up with friends who have grew up studying art and computers, one of my closer friends was a photographer. I was more of a specialist at drawing (you can say i may have developed some of the principles of a good composition from there) and during my high school years learned how to assemble computers and work with programs so you can say that my interest in computer graphics came from my love for both areas.

I bought my camera for use over a year ago to capture video for editing. My interest in Photography began with nature walks and shooting scenery to eventually taking an interest portrait photography thanks to the various comic and anime conventions and events that I have attended including New York Comic Con, Anime Next, and Otakon. Most of my shoots have consisted of mainly cosplay models, however, for the sake of broadening my portfolio, I would be more than happy to explore types of models and techniques to develop into a well versed photographer in the future.

I don't consider myself a professional in any way, in fact i am still learning and can handle criticisms quite well and am always welcome to some feedback that would help me improve in the craft. I hope being part of this community i can meet people and push my abilities as a photographer to the next level.
