I've been making pictures for about nine months. Recently, I've started working with models and have immensely enjoyed it. My main goal in shooting models is to build a portfolio for a portrait business. I am looking to shoot both male and female models in this interest. I like action shots on location and posed shots that do not look posed. I like making people laugh and capturing a genuine laugh as it happens. I also like making models act. What I mean is that I shoot other expressions than delightfully happy. Life is not always delightful. It almost always is, certainly for me, but not always. Ergo, why should portraits always be like that? Old portraits used to feature serious faces, mostly because the shutter speeds needed for a good exposure were quite slow. Frankly, I think other emotions are more glam. Humans have a full range of them. Models should too. I am very interested in models with little or no experience, as such models more closely resemble my expected clientele, but I will shoot anyone who is interested.
