I began modeling at the age of 18, when I was scouted at my work by a photographer for KMS Hair care. I did print work, hair and clothing modeling, product modeling and spokes modeling. My training in theater was a great asset to working independently from there, and modeled for clothing lines and a novelty costume ad which ran for years after.
I began work as a photographer at 20, and a graphic photo editor at 27 and after 9 years, wanted to be back in front of the camera.
I began Alternative Modeling a year ago, and have sat for various photographers as a credit to both of our portfolios.
I'm trained in theater, runway, and am often chosen for jobs for my physical diversity (I have features that allow me to look anywhere from classic, to almost frightening, to high fashion and feminine. I also have naturally short hair, but model often with a wide collection of wigs. My "natural" look is quite androgynous, and that has been a good attribute in alternative modeling, and I love playing that up! My age is a downfall in mainstream modeling, but at the age of 30, I'm often matched with 18 and 19 year old models for shoots. I'm very young hearted, free spirited, laid back, a little silly (though I take this quite seriously) and very open to trying new styles. I'm very flexible physically, and am often praised for my ability to hold a pose for very long periods of time if need be.
