I have been interested in photography for many years and have taken many shots over that time. I shot 35mm until I got my first digital in 2000 and have been shooting with Canon equipment ever since. Currently, I am using a Canon EOS 20D. I recently added a T5i as well. Great ISO range and 18MP. Fantastic for low light apps like trying to shoot at a Johnny Winter show! While, I have been shooting concerts, other live events and local car shows for some time, I have also been photographing the Cascade Mountain Range (think Mt. St. Helens) since 2006.

I really enjoyed nature photography and thought that that was what I wanted to do until I went to school and got "turned on" to studio work. I had no idea what I was missing until then! I started buying my own lights and backdrops while still attending classes and finished school with a 4.0 GPA. I often speak with other photographers and try to never miss an opportunity to pick their brains and contribute when I can.

I joined this group in order to find new people to work with. I am always looking for new models but I would also like to find people who do hair, make-up and fashion design. Maybe even body painters. I feel that I am pretty open minded and willing to try almost anything when it comes to photography. I also feel that I should explain how I feel about getting paid. Paid work is fantastic!!! But, I would rather work for free if it meant being able to produce a great piece of art. It's the same thing when talking about experience. I would love to work with experienced people, but really, experience is not as important (to me) as vision. If someone has a plan (or a vision) concerning a shoot that they want to do, I will be onboard, to help make the project come to life.
