Over the years my interests have matured through the avenue of photography putting this at the spearhead of my passions. I am fascinated with how a photograph can capture the essence of a moment in time; how a second that the eye cannot pinpoint can be seized as something stunning. Photography lays so fond in my heart as even the everyday can be made into something enthralling; as a form that can be interpreted individually by most with no language barriers.

I am mostly captivated with art, portraiture and fashion photography, although all avenues intrigue me; documentary, intimate life, macro, underwater and abstract. I mainly work in black and white as I am traditional in my approach through the analogue creation process; processing film and developing prints by hand. I feel the knowledge and work created by traditional means form the roots and basis of todays modern ethics. I am drawn to physically creating my works instead of applying my product to technology exclusively.

Photography is often disregarded as an art form, but I consider myself an artist and my camera an extension of myself, I regard it as a painter would regard a brush as a working tool.
