My goal here is to find people that want to work together making images that are interesting and timeless. I genuinely enjoy the entire process; meeting new people, setting something up, the photoshoot, post processing, and feedback. I have a lot of fun doing it and make sure others have fun, too. I focus on a style that's painterly, romantic, and warm. During a shoot I work creativity, applying the motto "make, not take, photographs" The sample photos here are a cross section of my personal work. There's much more on Flickr, Flickr.com/photos/EastAve/ I'm great with Photoshop & Lightroom and regularly use them to enhance and improve images. For paying photography work I shoot senior portraits, family portraits, events, and corporate images.

In addition to photography, I draw and paint. I love drawing from photos, often including dance, flowing fabrics, and graceful poses. Working from a photograph allows detailed classic-academic style pieces. Applying a sense of motion and complex contrasts gives the images depth and life.

I'm actively doing TFP work. (I'm having too much fun to ask for money!) I love getting outside and using natural light as well as lots of flashes and strobist techniques. Even though I didn't check everything under Genres, I'd work in any style a model is looking for. I have a simple home studio and enough portable equipment set-up anywhere.
