Hello everyone my name is Jody I own Cherrish Hair & Makeup Artistry, I have been a hair and makeup artist for over 15 years and I am still quiet new to Newcastle so i'm looking to network and build my business, I also have my own eye shadow range called Cherrish.

My qualifications include:
Diploma of special effects make-up artistry
Certificate IV of beauty therapy
Certificate IV in TAA
Body painting course with Becca Gilmartin

What i do-

- Pin up
- Short films
- Movie make-up
- Body art
- Head dress artistry
and pretty much anything that involves styling or hair and make-up

I am also currently learning photography not to make money from but more to see it from the photographers view and see what they see so i can achieve the desired effect that will benefit all parties.

I have recently completed a body art course with the amazing Becca Gilmartin which pretty much changed my life and how I view make-up and art.

I often collaborate with Exposure studios in Tuggerah NSW and do the hair and make-up on 2 to 3 models every Monday night for their photography workshop.
I have extensive photo shoot experience completing at least 3 a week which includes styling and designing costumes for some.

I also run make-up training courses for models, hens nights ect.

- Calendar for The lost in 50's museum in Cameron park NSW
- Calendar for the NSW dog rescue organization

you won't really find me advertised in many places as majority of my work has been through word of mouth and I havn't needed to advertise, however I'm looking at expanding so I will be advertising more.

I also run a TFP facebook page called Creative Collaborations- I put together mood boards with 3 to 6 images and they are aimed at igniting your creative flame and bringing like minded people together to get inspired and create amazing photo shoots.
