Richard Lemke is a artist/designer based in York. He is an avid art photographer and the nude is a central theme to much of his personal work. When shooting nudes, he maintains that he tries to approach things like a portraitist would. A passion for art and psychology and a reverence for intimacy are key elements of his work.

Generally works with the same models over long periods of time. This helps create a true relationship and deepens the level of understanding and trust. He says that, "it is this sense of relationship [with the model] .. and the fact that I prefer natural lighting and natural locations, that helps form the intimate feeling in my work".

Am currently working on projects with the nude in nature, rural landscapes, and awareness for breast cancer and autism.

I also was under #1160886 before, but stopped several years ago to spend time raising my two children. I am now restarting and look forward to working with some old friends and new.
