Born on October 31st, in a third world Country known as Port-Au-Prince, the Capital city of Haiti ~ Makens Ulysse made his first appearance. Coming from a large family with several siblings of divorced parents, he prays that one day he’ll achieve success in building a strong family of his own. At age 11 he made the move to Norwalk, Connecticut to be with his father Marc who he was meeting for the first time. He faced many challenges during his move to the US & his upbringing, so at age 17 he left home to be on his own ~ not for the sake of freedom but for the joy of peace. Thanks to his faith in God, his Angel Mother, and the Belizaire family from Norwalk who rescued him after becoming homeless and living in shelters. Makens looks forward to the day when his mother Margarette moves from Haiti to the U.S. to be with him.
You can say Makens is a jack of all trades, but has mastered several jobs in his past. Along with modeling full-time he also does undercover private investigation for a PI firm, which helps to sustain his lifestyle but modeling has always been his true passion.    This Scorpion has always strived for a healthy lifestyle and is a true believer in staying at his maximum fitness level. Makens has over 6 years of modeling experience and has shot with well known photographers such as Gian Andrea Di Stifano and Justin Hyte. In June 2011 he won 1st place in a NYC male modeling competition, and won a spread for a magazine launch. Makens is a professional when on the set, he is a visionary model when working with photographers to create the most unimaginable portrait that speaks from his soul. On the sets, his sense of taking directions makes him a very easy muse to work with. His missions and goals are to create works of art and deliver 110% to his clients and audience all over the world.
