Paul started taking photographs in high school for the yearbook in 1989. He would take over 100 exposures a week, and develop them in the Indianapolis’s school’s dark room.

From there he became a staff photographer durring his time at Ball State University. After graguating he moved on to digital images; at the time that meant having negatives drum scanned and manipulating with Photoshop 2.5 and a Scitex. He was a profesional studio photographer for Zesco resturaunt supplies, Finishline shoe retailer, and Bravara door hardware. From those possitions he moved into IT/project management, but photography was an avid hobby. During that time he shot several one-off projects, including several weddings and a bookmobile wrap for a local public library.

Photography has been an integral part of his life, and he now takes portraits as a part time endeavor.
