A graduate from the Royal College of Art in London, Max is an award-winning photographer. Specializing in portraits and reportage, his photographs have been widely published and exhibited both the UK and abroad.

Max has also spent the past decade directing and producing revealing documentary films for all the major broadcasters (BBC, Channel 4, FIVE ,Discovery, National Geographic, ARTE). At the heart of his work lies an intimate relationship with his characters and a passion for his subject matter. Max shoots most of his work.

Driven by a passion for story telling Max has recently turned his attention to writing and directing drama. His experience gained in the documentary field and idiosyncratic approach to filmmaking has allowed him to develop a distinctive style. He is now set to direct his first feature: The Visitation, adapted from Naomi Wallace’s award-winning play, is a gritty story set in London during the great plague of 1665…
