About Me

I LIKE TO WRITE STORIES, WHETHER IT IS WITH A PEN OR A CAMERA

Photography for me is writing stories. Writing my own reality, my own world. I’d like to show you this world through pictures, but make you a part of it as well.

My love for photography started while in college, studying graphic design. I’ve always been interested in magazines and movies when I was younger, in awe of all the worlds they showed me, through text and images. Worlds I wanted to escape into, to get away from the mundane.

You can best describe my photography as staged (portrait) photography with a darker undertone. The worlds I create aren’t happy-go-lucky picture perfect. Instead, I show you a world with real feelings and raw emotions. A world you can (hopefully) be yourself in.

I can be found in a small town called Volendam, half an hour away from Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
