Dominic's the name and portrait photography is the game. I am self taught but I will soon be going back into University to study Photographic Design.

I've always been a rather safe and conservative shooter, though I am open to experimenting with more daring genres such as pinup and boudoir, continually working beyond my comfort zone and broadening my portfolio. I believe that by being a member here, that it will connect me to like-minded people who share that common goal.

I still shoot film from time to time, though despite the digital era making photography all the more accessible and affordable, I still believe that it requires that certain person with the critical eye to produce images that stands the test of time.

People skills are quintessential to me, above my technique and the investments that I have made in my gear. A photoshoot for me is like making a new friend, building that chemistry to bring life in the photos. When your models, stylists and MUAs share that commitment and effort into your photos, then you know you're onto something special.

I will put the camera down during shoots and get to know you better and make you feel more comfortable, to see what makes you laugh, what makes you pull silly faces or what makes you think, to catch that millisecond in time where the image just comes together.
