Hi! As you might have already guessed from my profile, my name is Kai Lerner. I am a professional photographer in the Houston area (Pearland).

First, and foremost, thanks for reviewing my profile! I appreciate your time!

If you have drive, ambition, and desire to model.. please disregard the next few statements..... They may seem a little harsh. I just want to make sure people understand that I am VERY SERIOUS about my photography, and my career as a photographer, and if you aren't.......The next couple of statements are gonna make you cry.

If you're not serious about photography, whether that be as a model, concept developer, budding photographer, MUA, Hair Stylist etc... Move on... I'm not interested in speaking with you. I don't care how "beautiful" you are, or how tall you are, your DDD breasts, the little tattoo on your right thigh, your 10 years of experience, your waist-long hair, your amazing eyes, round butt, beautiful hands, charming personality, or the fact that you check boxed "will shoot nudes" on your profile . BUT.. if you have drive, ambition, and desire to make it in this industry... Read on because I want to hear from you!

I am a very accomplished photographer, and have won over two dozen awards for my photography. Honestly, all the accolades and talent won't make up for a bad attitude, so we'll both agree to check them right here. The truth is....I'm as tired of working with bad attitude models as you are with working with bad attitude photographers. If you're looking for a photographer with ego to spare, and thinks their crap doesn't stink.... Move On. I'm not that photographer. By the same token.... If you're a "professional" model that thinks she's "made it", and can make "demands".... Been there done that...Move on. If you have desire, motivation, and drive... Read On!

If you're creative, on-time, hungry for success, and willing to put in the time and effort to drive your career forward, then.... You've met your match... I am a photographer that is very serious about my career, and am moving it forward as rapidly and with as much gusto as I possibly can. If you think you can handle that...... Read On!

I have helped launch the careers of several ladies (young and "seasoned") in the modeling industry, and am always seeking new faces to work with. I'm not looking for the "most beautiful", or the "tallest", or the "shortest", or long hair, or short hair, or blue eyes, or white skinned, or dark skinned, or........ I'm looking for someone with drive, ambition, ideas, willingness to throw themselves into their modeling career head-first and never look back.

Having said that......
I prefer someone who lives in or near the Pearland, Friendswood area so that we can get together for impromptu shoots, but I'm open to someone in other areas provided that we can still easily and quickly get together for a shoot. You may be wondering why this requirement? Simple......One never knows when the seed of inspiration will blossom, and I want to be able to call my model, and head out for a shoot. Because turn-about is fair play, I want to say that I'm also open to my model in the same way. If she's feeling like doing some modeling, or testing out a new idea in her head, I want to be available to her.

What am I seeking in a model?
I seek a model who has ideas, and concepts that she wants to shoot. Someone who will collaborate with me and contribute to the shoot. I'm not seeking a "coat hanger" (been here done that). I want a person, enthusiastic, driven, open to shooting on a very regular basis (at least once a week), has cool shoot ideas, but is open to shooting my ideas as well.

Here's what makes me quite different from most photogs....
If you and I shoot an interesting and sellable photograph, I will share all the profits with you 50/50 (will put it in writing, in a contract). In addition, we will co-own all fully processed photographs. You will have as much right to publish the photographs as I do, and equal opportunity to produce revenue from the photograph(s). Why do I do business this way? Because...... if I wanted a coat hanger, I'd just get one from Wal-Mart. I want a real person, with real desire to push their career forward, and money talks, bullshit walks. Profit sharing is the best way to make sure that the model and I are on the same page, with equal "skin in the game" so to speak.

Please don't take my tough and rough attitude towards my profile as being mean, ornery, and just plain ole yucky. Truth is.. I was at one time a comedian (What did the model say when she walked into a room of photographers..........) lol. I'm funny, easy going, and love being around interesting people, but I've just met too many "models" who aren't willing in to put in the "blood, sweat, and tears" it takes to really push a modeling career forward. Ask any consummate model. It's HARD WORK!

I shoot something almost every day, even if it's dice from a monopoly game, a hot-dog I just cooked, or my good friend Jennifer Connelly (Oscar winner "A Beautiful Mind"). My camera comes out of its bag... On second thought.. the only time it's IN it's bag is when I'm transporting it to a shoot lol. Anyway, I think you get the "picture" (oh bad bad pun haha). I take my career very seriously, but I have a LOT of fun, and seek out someone who wants the same.
