Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Alexandra Velez feels lucky enough to call the island of enchantment her home. At seventeen she started an exciting journey at Full Sail University as a film student where she quickly obtained a Bachelors of Science in Film. Soon after she moved to New York City and started exploring her career as a freelancer in the Television and Film industry. At the young age of 21 Alexa was working full time, gaining experience while working on the road in cities like New York, Miami, Los Angeles, New Orleans, San Juan, Vegas, Atlanta, Denver, San Francisco. Not eager to explore abroad, Alexa worked internationally in places like Los Cabos San Lucas , Puerto Vallarta, Playa del Carmen and Mykonos, Greece. The variety of people and places she has encountered allows her to produce, coordinate and shoot on-the-go.

Capturing moments and timing them perfectly is what life is all about. High contrast, black and white photography and is almost an addiction with Alexa. There are no limits to telling the story through her lenses regardless of where she sets her sights, and she believes the most important part of creating is to find truth in every moment.

As a product of many ambitions, Alexa Velez founded PINKHAVOC productions with the projection of creating, developing and producing independent projects in a variety of medias. Films, episodic television and cinematic photography are the prevailing focus.

Currently living a busy, bicoastal life from New York to Los Angeles, Alexa continues working and creating on her boundless rollercoaster
