Zakiya Eshe was created by Zakiya Richardson in 2013. Richardson is a native of Detroit, Michigan. During her upbringing she was introduced to the art of dance where she studied strategically for 10 years. Along the way she picked up another artistic trait of makeup artistry. Always having to do stage makeup, she perfected several looks and her colleagues began to notice how great she applied makeup. Upon high school graduation, Richardson relocated to Atlanta, GA where she began to study business marketing and fashion merchandising at Clark Atlanta University. During her matriculation she continued doing make-up as a free lance artist.


Finally, Richardson began to pursue her certification in make-up artistry and became more knowledgeable about the art. From there the show really began for her. Richardson realized the talent she had, and exactly how she could affect the lives of beautiful woman all over the world. That is when Zakiya Eshe’ was created. Zakiya Eshe’ was created to make everyone woman in the world feel like she is the most beautiful. Focusing on customer service and a exquisite experience Zakiya Eshe’ enhances beauty and exemplifies true art. “Turning what you believe to be a flaw into what makes you uniquely beautiful” is the motto this company is structured on because everyone was beautifully and wonderfully made.
