As an art student of Old Dominion University looking at her final year of school coming soon, I started "Mahala Studios Photography" as a way to reach out to the Hampton Roads community and reflect on what makes the tidewater region the sensational place that it is--beautiful scenery, cultural diversity, and colorful personalities.

I love taking photographs of nature, wildlife, portraits (expression/concept, senior/high school, family, engagement, etc), and editorial (makeup, hair, glamour, fashion, etc). As of recently, I have been more focused on editorials for my portfolio, but I am always open to the many projects that may come my way.

My job is to bring out the beauty in every occasion, whether it be candid or posed, natural or controlled. I may not be a professional photographer--yet--but I promise you, your business, your family, your party/reunion, or what/whom ever the recipients be, creative and high-quality photographs that will last forever.
