I'm Genea Talmadge
I am a young, ambitious, new model that strives to use my creativity to express myself through modeling. I am also learning the art of photo editing. Not fully educated with editing, but learning. I know I am not the tallest of models or the most professional, but I am willing to learn. I love trying new things, photography, learning new things, as well as have many hobbies.
I love to move so music helps every situation of uncomfortable shoots. Now what most photographers love is the fact I have such long legs for how tiny I am in height.
I also am a pre transplant heart patient. I was diagnosed with Restrictive Cardio-Myopathy back in Jan 2012. Everyday is a chance to do something amazing!! I model for the fun of being able to model. Not the money, even though we all know thats a plus. I enjoy the pleasure of meeting new people, making new friends, learning, exploring new arts, and so forth.

Also at this time I do not have transportation so please if you need me to go to a location it will be around Aug before I have any income to where I can have a vehicle again. Sorry for the inconvenience. My fiance and I usually like to be together during a shoot. He is there just in case something happen due to my heart condition or possible scammers since I have ran into problems at shoots in the past. Due to me being only 4ft 9in tall and 87 lbs if I have anything outdoors he is there to help me & the photographer if needed.
I do also prefer music while in a shoot, something positive and with a pretty good beat to help set the mood of the photos.
Please inform me of anything about your styles, studios, make-up/wardrobe, cost, or anything prior to the shoot.
I greatly dislike info being sprung on me last minute, as well as I am pretty sure you as the photographer or agent do as well.

Now to inform you about me a bit through a little biography of me.
Well on September 28th 2011 I was at a gynecologist appointment in a Plano, TX hospital and they needed blood since I was a new patient. They could not get any blood and my blood pressure started to drop. Then they notice that I was faguling out. So they took me down to the ER. In the ER room I started throwing up my stomach fluids. Then I remember looking at the light above me and everything sounded like I was under water. The room started to go dark or they call it tunnel vision. Then everything went black and that is when I flat lined. I was out from 11 mid day till 2am the next morning. They had called my mother here in Alabama telling her to come to Dallas that this would be the last time she would be able to see me. But my mother told them to put me on life support in till she got there. After it went dark and I could not hear anything anymore I remember seeing a bright light and a winged lion flying towards me. It was not scary it made me feel warm and lightweight. When I came back to consciousness I had many tubes and wires all over me and I felt extremely heavy. I felt so heavy I could not lift my arm. My aunt was in the room at the end of the bed. I remember waking up and looking at her and her asking me if I was alright before I passed out again. But that was the first time. The second time it happened I was at UAB for a cardioversion. Before I have a cardioversion I am on liquid and food restrictions. The night nurse that I had that night did not understand my condition fully and decided that I needed liquids before a treatment. Even though my mother and I refused the liquids and demanded not to have them to ask the doctor instead if it was a good idea. But she explained that she had asked the doctor he was the 1 that recommended it. Which was not my actual doctor it was just a cardiologists on call which did not know my history. So during the cardioversion when they shocked my heart back into rhythm all the liquids with straight to my lungs filling them causing me to not be able 2 breathe. So my heart stopped for 8 minutes while the doctors tried to bring me back to life. They had called my mother and told her that my heart had stopped during treatment to go back to the room immediately that they were moving me 2 ICU. The second time I did not see anything. but afterwards I did cough up a lot of blood. After this all happened I have been placed onto the heart transplant list in waiting for 2 years. Well unfortunately its been over 1 year now and working on the 2nd. I still do not have a new heart but I am told to not work, exercise a lot, eat certain foods, and drink only a certain amount a day. I am not like many of the models you usually run into, so please be very understanding on doing a shoot with me. Please keep also in mind I am to have someone able to take care of me at any point. For example if during a shoot my heart goes out of rhythm, I will have someone there that can carry me to the car and take me to UAB ASAP. So the pressure is not on you as the photographer if something is to happen. Please understand that that is why I ask to have someone in the shoot. I would much rather have someone there to help you if something goes wrong then you be stuck with me on the floor unable to move. Which isn't fun for anyone involved.
