I’m a working photographer shooting professionally all of my life. Mostly advertising. My photography has been used to sell all sorts of stuff, mostly in the automotive industry now days.

My reason for joining model mayhem is to collaborate with other talents using the “artistic freedom” that sometimes gets stifled in commercial work.

In my commercial work I can call the agency to hire models and other talent that fit the production requirements. (Although there is occassional need for “real people”looks nowdays)
For my more artistic work there usually is no immediate client with a decent budget. The art budgets are very small but the work is more artistically rewarding for everyone.

I make my living in photography so I prefer to pay models and be paid, but will trade image files or prints when conditions are agreeable for everyone. Model. Crew, Makeup, and photographer.

I’m happily married so I won’t hit on you. I don’t shoot without at least one other person present. And I recommend you should always bring someone with you to any shoot. Especially with a new photographer. Working pros will require it.

I expect that venturing further into the artistic side of photography will allow me to bring back some new ideas and imagery that I can use commercially.

I’m happy to collaborate on your creative vision. I’ll talk to anyone with ideas but will only invest in efforts where I see a creative vision that works well with my own. Contact me with your ideas.

I didn’t take Model Mayhem seriously until I was in Cabo San Lucas and before leaving wanted to shoot a nude on a deserted stretch of beach at sunrise. It is really beautiful with the wind swept rocks smoothed by centuries of sand and water. A beautiful and natural place where a human would not seem out of place but clothing would. MM had several models listed in the area, but I wasn’t a member and was leaving the next day. Now I’m joining. We will see how it works out.
