Tim Bessell is a conceptual artist. His range is broad, his thoughts are abstract, and his fascination with life continues to rise. Being raised in Southern California with parents from the arts and sciences, becoming a sculptor of surfboards was inevitable. As a child, Tim enjoyed painting side by side with his mother Pat. You could say he was born with a paintbrush in his hand. Studying art, architecture and psychology at the prestigious San Diego State University, Tim opened his own studio where he still is today. Bessell's studio is a testament to creativity. If he is not sculpting a surfboard, then he's painting in his own style (non consensual collaborative). On any given day, Tim can be found working on his art, furniture, or 100% off the grid dwellings he creates using recycled shipping containers.

Tim has exhibited his work from London, New York, Los Angeles to Tokyo.
