My friends and colleagues refer to me as a “Jack of All Trades” or the “One Stop Shop”.

Whether it’s music, photography or film, art is a part of me.

I guess you could say my first true love was music. Making music under the name “SIDEWAYS”, It kept me out of trouble as a teenager, consoled me when times were bad and served as a counselor when I needed an outlet to vent and get things off my chest.

The skills I learned producing music assisted me in converting picture taking—-something I considered a hobby, into a full fledged business.

For me, photography is a completely different animal. It’s raw. There are no boundaries. It’s just me, my subject and my camera. I love the fact that the moment I trip the cameras shutter, the emotions I felt at that very moment are captured. I find myself intrigued by what most would call grime and filth in the world around us…whether it’s a garbage can filled to the brim or a sidewalk that has been demolished, it’s all a very intricate part of the things that excite my imagination.

Creating music videos is a way for me to combine both music and photography. It allows me to enjoy the best of both worlds. Not only am I am able to entertain visually as well as audibly, but in my own way, also paint a picture of what is being heard.

Art has NEVER turned it’s back on me….and for that I am forever grateful.
