grew up in the Hudson Valley area of New York State and lived there until I was 15 when I relocated to Key West, Florida. Talk about a change! Going from the cornfields and cow pastures of upstate New York to the Beach sides and Key Deer of the Florida Keys was certainly an adjustment but it turned out to be the best decision I ever made. I completed High School in Key West (which, honestly, is there any better place in the country to go to High School than in paradise?!).

After graduating High School I relocated to Tampa, Florida in September of 2000 to attend college. I didn’t know it then but throughout my years in Tampa I would meet some of the most influential people in my life, ranging from lifelong friends to professional mentors.

In 2001 I began working for a Tampa-based photographer as a retouch artist. There I learned the principles of portrait retouching and image output, and this eventually lead me into the world of professional photography. Along the way I would start a successful freelance service working for several photographers as a retouch and graphic artist for Tampa bay Photographers not only retouching images but also designing wedding albums and web site content.

I completed college in 2004 earning a degree in Digital Art and Technology, and returned to the same school to obtain another degree in 2005 (this time in Digital Photography). I would eventually find myself relocating to Pensacola, Florida for my new career path in 2011, where I served as studio manager and photographer for a nation-wide portrait photography company. In 2013 I decided to take the opportunity to relocate to Oklahoma City for the same company as studio manager for a busier location.

Currently I am working towards developing my own business specializing in modern portraiture and composite artwork. I am actively seeking models who would work TFP and am in need of a makeup/hair stylist to work with as well, also for TFP that could eventually lead into a paying partnership as I develop my business.
