I've had an interest in photography since I was about 8 years old. I started out with an old pentax k-1000 and spent a long time shooting film and working in the darkroom. I mainly shot landscapes until digital came around. Once I got my first DSLR I decided to venture into learning lighting and shooting people because I could instantly see the results. That made learning a lot cheaper. I mainly joined this site to find new people to shoot, and people that are comfortable in front of a camera. I've done paid shoots, and a few weddings, but I'm mainly here for TFP work and to have fun doing something I enjoy.
