I am a repurposing clothing designer; which means I never start from scratch. I start with plain, boring, or "normal" articles of clothing and repurpose them into something more fun & funky, a totally unique, one-of-a-kind fashion piece. I specialize in bustiers, tutus & bustles with lace, tulle, sequins, rhinestones, denim & fur.
I own and run Pepper Grand Coulee's Funky Trunk in Chico, CA, selling vintage, retro & quirky used clothing for men and women. This provides me the facilities and resources to create my "Pepper's Picks": A funky line of custom repurposed clothing and accessories for men and women. I have designed for fashion shows, editorial photo shoots, and stage performances. I enjoy partnering with other passionate artists to showcase my unique designs.
