Born 25 august 1977 . I was always very keen on photography even as a little kid. I got given my first camera at the age of 12 and was hooked. I went to Pretoria tecknikon arts campus for a 3-year photography diploma after school .I then went traveling for 2 years documenting all the places I visited ( Alaska-south America-mexico-europe ) I then returned to south Africa and went to cape town to assist international photographers for 2 years and then went to Hamburg to carry on my assisting and apprenticeship . I returned to Johannesburg 2 years later in 2004 where I started shooting for local magazine’s (cosmo-elle-sl-fhm-true love-men’s health) and progressed to shooting advertising (Jupiter drawing room-TBWA-Y&R-JWT-Ogilvy) I now reside in cape town and travel between Johannesburg and cape town shooting
