Florida based, Iceland native Sveinn Kjartansson began his life-long love affair with photography in 2007. His natural flair and symbiotic relationship with the lens started with landscapes and nature, and only deepened from there. After having traveled extensively around the world, capturing the breathtaking journey in a way only he could, Sveinn made Central Florida his home, where he has found his calling in the Kustom culture and pinup community.

"When I started going to classic car shows, it rekindled my childhood passion for the sleek classic look, and the low throaty rumble of older cars spoke a language I understood", Sveinn says, "After a few shows, I started shooting with some of the local pinup models, and the experience brought things to a whole new level for me and I was hooked!"

Sveinn has melded his soft spot for classic cars and bikes with his deep appreciation of pinup culture to create classic photo art with a unique and modern edge.”Pinup speaks straight to my heart about strength and confidence in women", Sveinn asserts. "Photography for me has never been about taking a photo. It’s about creating a feeling, conveying a story without words." His innovative angle on his art has pushed him to the forefront with dozens of publications to his credit already this year. Sveinn is rapidly becoming a highly sought-after pinup photographer.

Sveinn offers Pinup workshops with local celebrity Scarlette Saintclair, along with the expertise of Curly Girl Makeup. These talents combine to provide a custom adventure of hair, makeup and pose-coaching to the ladies of Central Florida, in a fun group setting. These personal workshops build confidence in women, and assist them in generating fantastic photos like only Sveinn can help to create. His beginning work with landscape has evolved into stunning location shoots with models and classic cars, creating timeless photographs. Always pushing his creative boundaries, Sveinn is already looking ahead and his constant expansion on his skills brings him to traveling to explore his craft further.
