I am an independent photographer and am used to following my own rules, of which I have one I follow at all times. My rule: I don't charge, and I don't pay. Well, I might ask someone who's rolling in it to, but if that's not the company or person who's hiring me than lets just form our respective skills together.



If you want to work with me, ask. Don't be afraid. I may or may not have time, you never know.


I should note that you get ALL photos from the shoot. Good and bad. Yep, you get to see what goes right, or horribly wrong; so we can fix it next time. I usually deliver within 24-48 hours of the shoot.

A few people have mentioned, and I agree, that it's nice to know what the photographer looks like. Saves you a lot of running around if you're meeting someone at a public place. That said, my other rule is I will send you my picture with a timestamp before ever meeting you.
