Thomas Z. Seffernick is the founder and owner of Z-Marc Production Company which was started in January 2013 in order to spread his love and experiences with film and photography.

Thomas's love for directing appeared while he attended Jackson Community College where he received his Associates in Theatre. During the two years, Thomas took many classes on stage production and techniques for the stage, however, his favorite class he took was Directing for Stage which is where he fell in love with the art.

After receiving his associates, he attended Lansing Community College for American Sign Language where he spent learning and perfecting the language. After a year, realizing he didn't want to become an ASL interpreter, he decided he wanted to go for filming, specifically directing.

Thomas is attending Grand Valley State University for film where he is finishing up his final year of film school. Attending Grand Valley, Thomas has Directed and produced several student short films, as well as, worked as a crew member on Independent Feature Films and Music Video's.

Beyond school Thomas has had many opportunities to work on film sets as a background actor throughout the years that have included sets having Mini Driver, Hilary Swank, Hugh Jackman, and Martin Sheen.
