Margarita Dominguez is a Tucson makeup artist who specializes in bringing a personal approach to every aspect of the art of professional makeup application.
Margarita began freelancing in 2005, and since then she has created distinguished makeup for various theater and TV productions, numerous weddings, photo shoots, fashion shows, proms, and quinceneras. Her ingenious fantasy makeup has been the hit of parties, parades, charity galas, and other special events throughout Pima County.
Margarita is well schooled in her field. In New York she completed seminar training with Danny Sanz, the creator of Make Up For Ever. In Los Angeles she received further instruction in her craft through the “Science of Sephora” program. She has also been trained in the use of a wide variety of brands, including Nars, Dior, and Laura Mercier. In addition, she is particularly proud of her rapid advancement from a beginning position at Sephora to that of Senior Artist.
Margarita has always had an eye for color, beauty, and trends in fashion. As a little girl she enjoyed watching her older sisters putting on makeup, and of course Halloween was a special event for her, a time to dress up, make up, and be glamorous. Now she expresses her love of beauty not only as a makeup artist but also as a painter. Her charming and colorful paintings grace the walls of many homes nation wide.
