My name is Genevieve Lee (formerly True) and I love to capture life in all its beauty, joy, pain, light, dark and everything in between. I've been photographing for about 10 years now (about 6 years professionally) and I still love the way it opens my eyes everyday.

Photojournalistic photography is my passion. I also love candid portraiture.

I became interested in photography in high school and learned about it by reading books from the library and taking loads of bad photos with my Canon AE-1. I then joined my college's newspaper and eventually became photo editor. After winning numerous awards, gaining recognition and getting paid to photograph (gasp!) I realized that perhaps I could make a career out of this and, sure enough, here I am, three years after graduation loving what I do!

I am based in Chicago, IL, but am willing to travel. I would love to work with you!
