I'm an experienced semi professional photographer who has built up a hopefully impressive portfolio of images over the years having worked with a number of fashion designers and celebrities. The attached sample portfolio will illustrate the quality of images that have been produced and portray the style that has become my signature.

I've never had any formal training in photography, I just picked up a camera some years back and started snapping away. In fact some of my early images were shot on my father's old war time Roliflex 6x6 camera that I found in a trunk along with some incredible negatives of his time spent in Tanganyika and Kenya during WW2. 

I like to think I'm easy to work with and very collaborative in nature. My black and white images have a timeless quality, almost atmospheric in feeling which is created by the subtle use of lighting and styling. I believe in a simplistic approach to photography, creating uncomplicated images using the most beautiful models available combined with subtle but effective lighting and then simply just let the results speak for themselves.

Styling is critical and as such I only use high end designer or unusual props and have access to a varied warbrobe of designer clothes and shoes which lend themselves to creating the high end fashion nude images you see posted on my profile.

My preference is to shoot fashion fine art black and white nude images and much of my work has been done in this genre. I specialise in anything from fashion, through portraiture to nude. The majority of my images have been shot in a studio environment where I can completely control the image and lighting.

I try to avoid and steer away from cheese cake images, favouring to capture something very special in every shoot. I am a perfectionist and try to leave no detail to chance in my pursuit of capturing that special image. I'm happy to shoot a lot of images to get one that works such is the advantage of modern digital photography.

This approach demands the absolute focus of the model and willingness to take it to the edge. Many of the models I have shot have openly stated that working with me brings out characters in them that they didn't realise existed. I like awkward shapes and try to combine a sense of high end fashion to my shoots. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't but we have a lot of fun in the process and nearly always get something that really stands out from the crowd.

Have to say I don't really go in for the Picture of the Day competitions, most of the time I'm banned anyway !!!!!  Its not really my thing but now and then I do get tempted to put in an entry or two. Frankly I don't consider my self to be a particularly good photographer and tend to describe myself at best as a good amateur. Nevertheless despite not entering MM POTD contests on a frequent basis I've been pleasantly surprised by the odd win or two. I guess its nice to have your work appreciated. I actually more appreciate the people who take the trouble to tag me as that takes real effort on behalf of the individual to make a statement. Thank you sincerely for all your kind thoughts and compliments.

Banned again for 60 days for apparently breaching POTD rules, the offending picture was a model wearing a red satin playboy bunny costume with absolutely no rude bits on show but judged to have too much of a high cut waist for the POTD contest  !!!!

Yet another example of the hypocrisy demonstrated by MM moderators, this image

To add insult to injury I was then informed by a MM moderator that my Avatar image which has resided on my MM page from the first day I joined back in August 2 2013 has now been banned  https://www.modelmayhem.com/portfolio/pic/33446081  MM is rapidly becoming an irrelevant forum.

4th October 2022. Been banned again because apparently I have submitted too many images for POTD competions that show too much flesh and yet most of the US based winners often have lots of flesh on show, what a load of bollocks !!!!!!!!!!!
