Friends (26)About Me
Que Billah is an up and coming Chicago hip hop artist with recognition from
local and national media. He has a reputation for having one of the best stage performances in the city and is most notably known for the ability to pack large crowds into venues with no record deal or radio play. Que Billah's love for the stage has awarded him performances at almost every concert venue in Chicago. He has toured with Ludacris & opened for Wu-Tang, Rakim, Talib Kweli, Wiz Kalifa, Twista, Slum Village, and Krs 1, and that’s just in the past few years. Due to his impressive stage show and his exceptional ability to sell CD's hand to hand, over 20,000 to date, Que Billah has made a name for himself one fan at a time henceforth he has been dubbed "Que B.I.L.L.A.H. THE PEOPLES CHAMP" . In 2005 he was recognized in Source Magazine as the Unsigned Hype. Both the Chicago Sun-Times and Tribune have written articles commenting on Que Billah’s thought provoking and entertaining shows. In 2006 one of his songs was featured on the highly anticipated video game Scarface The World Is Yours, and in 2008 he had a song featured on Midway Games Blitz the League. Very recently Que Billah collaborated with national recording artists KRS One and also with The Cool Kids for songs that have gained a considerable amount of Internet buzz. Fresh off a break from making music, due to the death of his long time collaborator and engineer Dj Spydr, Que Billah is set to release the project they were working on before Spydr’s life was taken by a motor cycle accident entitled “1000 Words”. This project showcases Que Billah’s vivid imagination and knack for storytelling. Each song on the album was based on a video concept. Que Billah came up with the idea for the video then wrote a song for that idea henceforth a picture is worth 1000 words. Due out this fall, “1000 Words” is sure to give the fans the full spectrum of Que Billah’s Artistry and passion for entertaining. "At the end of the day, Q.B.'s clever wordplay, entertaining subject matter and unusual character are what will open the world's eyes and allow him to introduce himself"-Tory Fredricks formerly of the Source Magazine.
