Photography has been a passion of mine for many years. Educating myself with techniques, composition, and technology is an ongoing endeavor aimed at producing memorable and beautiful results that honor the image as intended.

Recently I've made it a goal to take my semi-pro photography level and raise it to a true pro level. In order to accomplish this, I'm setting numerous goals. One goal was to raise the level of my equipment. I now have a full studio lighting setup as well as excellent camera equipment and lenses.

My next key goal was to elevate my website and make it a great photography presentation site. I believe I have accomplished that as well: mitchmccoy.com

And now my key goal is to build the portfolio. I am new to ModelMayhem, but from my industry colleagues I hear it is a great place to find and work with models aiming to build portfolios as well.

My photography interests at this time are primarily portraits and modeling. I've recently completed several great modeling shoots and would like to continue more of this. For portrait work, I'm very focused at this time on working with light in both studio situations as well as ambient lighting. The goal is to hone my craft and find the optimum way to make the individuals look their best as well as creative. I'm shooting for work that is gorgeous, stunning.
