Dani Palmer is a DC area based music and event photographer, currently studying at the Art Institute of Washington. Palmer, 24, began photographing as a natural extension of her love for concerts and event she attended in high school and pursued photography as a way to share the strong connection and unique community associated with music that she had experienced. While still a music photographer at heart, she’s expanded to cover editorial portraits, businesses and location, and other content with the same attention to personality and expression that she originally approached music with.

Her photography has been used and published by a variety of local and regional outlets including Vienna, VA music venue Jammin’ Java, where Palmer publishes a twice monthly column with the venue’s blog detailing current events at the venue and in the local music community through her photographs.
