About Me

I'm a recent college graduate (the cover pic is me) trying to put together a photojournalism exhibit called Beom Street. B. Street deals with the androgyny of painted bodies and body positions. I am looking for a more streamline genre that I fit into. I'm very interested in abstract, bodypaint and parts modeling. More focused on aspects of the body than the whole. Finding beauty in the creases of the arm, or the shape of the leg, or the arch of a position.

For a long time I was dealing with nature/animals but I'm trying to move away from flora and fauna and be more artistic and hon in on photographing people. Here and there I had been hired to shoot for flyers/head shots and small shoots for weddings, which got me more into taking photos of people rather than animals.

I'm currently looking for models who are willing to be a part of a Beom Street. Painting bodies, shooting or filiming small clips of simple movements, and interviewing the models on what the body personally means to them.

I know I'm young and new to the game of 'outside academia' but this is a very serious project for me and with a little help and faith it will become something really amazing. And I know Beom Street is something people will come to see and it's a project that will just keep expanding and traveling.

As an independent artist and photographer I want to bring simple ideal to the table that explain a lot, that make people feel something about themselves and I believe Beom Street will do that.
